Having had Jamie in France our Hospital stay was somewhat different to the UK. They do not allow baby wet wipes instead they opt for a gentle baby wash and towelling wipes. I have to say it was a great way to clean jamies little bottom. I had preordered these Cheeky Wipes from Laura at fillyourpants as I liked the idea for when we were at home not being reliant on wetwipes. I am not against them in fact we have them in our going out bag but I liked the cost saving of using towelling wipes.

So what are cheeky wipes? Well lets start by whats in it.
* 25 lovely soft Terry Towelling baby wipes – 15 cm x 15 cm
* 1 Fresh Wipes container
* 1 Mucky Wipes container with mesh bag insert
* 1 Fresh Wipes waterproof out and about travel bag
* 1 Mucky Wipes waterproof out and about travel bag with mesh bag insert
* 1 bottle of Lavender & Chamomile ‘Fresh Wipes’ essential oil blend
* 1 bottle of Tea Tree & Tea tree lemon ‘Mucky Wipes’ essential oil blend

It’s so simple and in fact you could probably make your own DIY kit but we found this was a great price for whats included. You start by filling the fresh wipes container with 2cm of water and a few drops of the fresh Wipes essential oil blend. Then pop the soft wipes into the fresh wipes container, and they are then ready to use! Next you prepare your mucky wipes container with around 5cm of water and a few drops of the mucky Wipes essential oil blend to keep those mucky wipes sweet. Once you’ve used the wipes, place them inside the clever mesh bag in the mucky wipes container. This saves you having to touch those mucky things again. The mesh bag of mucky wipes can go straight into the washing machine (you can wash at 40 degrees) you just loosen the drawstring on the bag your wipes come out spankingly clean. I wash the wipes at 60 degrees with Jamies bedding and towels to keep them bug free. We have already washed our first batch (and some pretty pooey wipes) and they really do clean up like new. The good news is there is no need to dry them, just place them back in the fresh wipes box with some fresh soaking solution.
