Amelia went to a friends house for a spot of lunch over easter and kept raving about this great ‘painting’ dish she had for lunch. I called up Ruths mum and this is what she did for the kids..

A bit of fun with Asparagus…

Cook 2 sheets of lasagne per child. Then cook 4 or 6 asparagus. Then make up 4 of your kids favourite pasta sauces like; green pesto, red pesto, cheese sauce, tomato based sauce. Great vegetables on the side are chargrilled courgettes & Peppers.

Present on a plate…the lasagne are a sheet of paper, the asparagus is the paintbrushes, sauces are the paint and the vegetables are the decoration.
